Enjoying snuggles with Pepper

Enjoying snuggles with Pepper

Today I got to meet baby Pepper. My beautiful friend Kasey is the proud parent to a cute as a button sausage dog. She was so much fun to play with! It got me thinking about how much animals bring happiness into my life.

Almost two and half years ago, Michael and I adopted our 'dog baby' from the wonderful people at the RSPCA. Growing up, Michael didn't really have pets, so I was more than happy to let him choose the name. And so, Kobe Bryant became a loving member of our family. Although... His name was quickly shortened to Kobe. He is such a loyal and clever little munchkin and his face just melts my heart.

I'm not going to lie, he has brought about some very trying situations, but he has taught Michael and I a lot, and we really couldn't imagine life without him. He has his own little personality and it cracks me up! His latest thing is that he has worked out sleeping on the floor is much more comfortable if he has a pillow for his head. Too cute!

As I'm sure you can tell, I LOVE animals. The way they are so loyal to their owners, and their unconditional love is something I think we can all learn from. I'm so grateful for the animals in my life and the smile they put on my face every time I see them!

Our little boy, Kobe
