Tell me a little bit about who you are
Thank you for having me this week! My name is Jess and I am a 25-year-old woman striving each day to follow my dreams by doing what I love. I am a fashion & lifestyle blogger, model, photographer, graphic designer & a sales assistant in fashion/swimwear retail. Doing all this keeps me pretty busy & I love being in the creative world, working with others & creating every day. I am pretty down-to-earth and enjoy spending time with friends & family, exploring new places, creating for my blog & meeting new people.
How did you get here? Was there a moment where everything changed?
Let me see.. If I was going to be silly I'd say my Mum gave birth to me and now I am here.. haha. Though I do want to say that I feel very honoured to have the Mum I have.. I believe because of her support throughout my life she has helped shape me into the person I am today.
I've always been very creative from a very young age. In saying that, fashion also wasn't of my biggest passions until I left high school. I started working in a retail store & doing fashion photography which made me realise how much I loved it. I saw it in a different light and I saw that I could be as creative as I liked by creating outfits. Now I am obsessed with the fashion & creative world.. I can't get enough of it!
I also wasn't always into healthy eating and looking after my body. When I was younger I never ate healthy all the time & didn't exercise much, aside for occasional team sports. I was unhappy because I felt unhealthy and I made the conscious decision to change my lifestyle for the better and created a new world for myself. I am still working on ways to improve my health, mind & body every day but I am very thankful that I can look back and see how far I have come.
What does a regular day looks like for you?
A regular day for me is generally not regular as the type of work I do is different every single day! So let's start with one of my days..
I usually like to start my morning with a cup of detoxing & cleansing tea. I have a cuddle with my pup Baxter & give him his breakfast too.
After breakfast I will jump online & reply to emails, edit some images, write a post on my blog or take some flat lay images for blog posts depending what I have to do that day. Then fit in some housework.
Brush my teeth, cleanse my face & exfoliate using a micro foliant depending on what I am doing that day.
Depending on what job I have on in the day I will get ready for that. If I am shooting for my blog, I will style the outfits and get myself ready to shoot by doing my hair and makeup.
Lunch-time on shoot days I usually have something light. So a tuna salad or a banana smoothie and keep hydrated with water or coconut water.
I usually shoot a few outfits at a time and love shooting in the afternoon light with my friend Kim or Mum depending on who is free to help out.
Dinner time I usually cook for myself and Jays my partner. He is coeliac so the meals I make are always gluten and dairy free (which I love anyway). Dinner is usually something with chicken or turkey and veges.
If there is something I enjoy to watch on tv I will watch that, have a nice warm shower and always apply a night cream or rose hip oil to my face before bed.
What are your favourite ways to get active?
My favorite way to get active is turning my office into my workout studio and doing online cardio and Pilates tutorials. I love the convince of having a personal trainer or instructor at home. I also love getting outside for a run, walk or bike ride depending on the weather.
What are the three most important things that you do each day?
I try my best to start each day by focusing on positive thoughts each morning and think about what I am thankful for.
Tell my loved ones that I love them & spend time together.
I make sure I spend time with my pup Baxter, he brings me so much joy and always brightens my day.
In your eyes what does a Whole Housewife look like?
I believe a 'Whole Housewife' is a woman who lives life by creating positive, healthy surroundings, nourishing foods, a woman who nurtures her body, mind, soul & takes care of her loved ones.

Travel to Europe.. I would love to experience a trip to Europe to soak up the culture.. and the food!!
I believe that…
We are all on our own journey, we all have a unique life and we should embrace that. I believe that we all experience ups and downs in life and these things happen to teach us how to handle all the elements life throws our way.
Today I’m grateful for…
Being alive! I am grateful for the beautiful place I live in, my supportive family and friends, and the journey I am on to do what I love.

What is your favourite meal of the day?
My favorite meal of the day is every meal. I love food! But if I had to choose I do really look forward to breakfast! In the mornings I have a cup or herbal detox tea and warms oats with almond milk, honey and chopped almonds. Yum!
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given?
Be yourself, be confident, always smile & follow your dreams.

You will need
- 2 frozen banana's
- 1 tsp maca powder
- 1tsp chia seeds
- 1 tsp cacao
- Almond Milk
Blend until smooth. Enjoy!
