THE ONE THING YOU NEED TO DO BEFORE 1ST JANUARY

We’re already counting down to 2017, and I’m just as excited as the next person. There’s a real
buzz in the air about next year, and I believe this has a lot to do with it being a ‘one’ year, the first of a 9 year cycle. Beginnings and newness are tied to a one year, and after a lot of finality, hardship, turmoil and very unexpected changes collectively in 2016, the idea of new and fresh is super appealing.

But there is one thing I suggest you do before you dive into your 2017 goals.

And that’s a quick assessment on the year that was.
With the emphasis on quick.

This isn’t about wallowing, rather taking a moment to reflect on what worked, what didn’t, what you would like to spend more time nurturing, what you overcame, and what you can celebrate.

The key here is to identify a few things that summarise the year, and aid in creating a clear direction for you in the future.

There is no need to process, reflect, or look too deeply, because I’m sure for most of you (me included) the processing is already done. We’ve lived through it all already, opened up and learned what we needed to learn.

Cracking open old wounds is definitely not what this is about. Rather just take a birds eye view of what was.

Here are a few things that I noted from my 2016 review …

  • I’m celebrating the growth of my business and how much I’ve fallen in love with hosting intimate live events.
  • I’m proud of the way Michael and I are creating a home environment that feels like us. I feel more grounded and at home than I have for a really long time.
  • I’m grateful for Daisy, the little pup that came into our lives in Winter. She has brought so much love and light into our lives, and I absolutely adore her.
  • I want to focus more love and attention on my physical health. I let my yoga practice fall down my list of priorities, and I noticed a negative response to that in in my spine. I love how yoga makes me feel on all levels, and I’m ready to dive back into my practice.

It’s that simple, nothing too deep, it takes about 10 minutes, and it loads you with clarity, ready for whatever comes next.

Because I know how much you love clear guidance, I’ve created a cheat sheet for you to do a 2016 review of your own.

Once you’ve completed the review, i'd love you to share one thing you’re grateful for, or celebrating from 2016 in the comments section below. This is a space to share how proud you are, show the Universe how grateful you are and cheer on the other women in our community.

If you haven’t commented before, now is the time!

Merry Christmas beautiful people, wishing you a love loaded season of giving with those who you care about most.

I’ll see you back here in the New Year, with a new online workshop coming your way in January to help you set and nail those big goals in 2017!
